Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween this year! Audrey gets it more and more. She was the only "Teem-puh-bewl" we saw all night.

There were parties and carnivals and trunk-or-treat and a little old-school trick-or-treating.

The sugar buzz was great!

The haul was greater.

Can't stand it!

Audrey is just too cute lately. I know it's tainted by the fact that I am her mother, but I don't say this every day. Believe me, she has her bad days. I have lots of pictures and fun things to write about, but I have little time tonight. So...

This is just to make sure I document some things Audrey has been saying.

"I'm having a bad hair day."

"I'm the Mommy. I have to do dishes."

Today she opened a lunch sack, looked inside and remarked, "Not bad."

She still blesses Mommy, Daddy and Gym every night. As in - the GYM/YMCA not a member of our family.

"Bye Mommy. Have fun at your meeting." As I head off to another church meeting.

"I'n Aud-ee Jayne Show-bum." I know you're laughing. It's not like she's not going to get called that anyway.

Sweeping the Cob Webs

You know, I used to be afraid of what I imagined made 'cob webs'. I just knew they had to be scarier than spiders.

Now I realize how much I love a clean house. It brings such a calming feeling.
It's a wonder I don't clean more often.

I think I really am getting older when I realize that things like that make me happy.
I'm not at the acceptance stage, but I do realize that I'm getting older.
